Bridge to Care Fund
Health justice means access for all, not just those who can afford it. The Bridge to Care Fund exists to ensure that advocacy and doula support are available to people who might otherwise be shut out by financial barriers. As an active business member of Herbalists Without Borders, I’ve seen firsthand how grassroots networks can fill the gaps left by systems that fail to care for the most marginalized.
When you contribute to Bridge to Care you are standing in solidarity with a movement toward health justice for all.
How It Works
Every time someone books services at Tier 3 of the sliding scale, a portion of their payment flows directly into the fund.
Donations from community members add to this pool.
Those resources are then used to cover or reduce the cost of sessions for clients at Tier 1, making it possible for more people to access the support they need.
Accountability & Transparency
This fund is not a nonprofit and does not issue tax-deductible receipts. It’s a direct redistribution model, stewarded by Dove Shepard with integrity and transparency. Every contribution, whether through Tier 3 payments or direct donations, provides free or reduced-cost advocacy and support hours for people facing systemic and financial barriers. Your support becomes someone’s access to care.
